To mint a Poopz, you need to purchase a portal on the CryptoPoopz website in the minting portal section, which will initially be in a closed state. Once you have bought your closed portal, you can open it to reveal your Poopz, or you can choose to sell it on the .
Minting fees is standard, given that a portal is created for the purpose of revealing Poopz. However, the cost associated with opening the portal and creating the Poopz is slightly higher than standard. This is due to the inherent complexity of the contract, which involves the generation of a random number necessary for defining the traits of the NFT. Additionally, the creation of objects to embellish your Poopz, as well as the selection of a name and motto, contribute to the higher cost. It is imperative to note that these fees are non-negotiable and reflect the resources and effort required to produce high-quality CryptoPoopz NFTs.
Opening the portal Opening the portal involves a smart contract function that calls Chainlink to assign a random number to each portal. This number is then used to determine the base color, face, and launch drop for your Poopz.
After you have selected the 4 colors, face, name, and motto, your Poopz will be generated, and some will be airdropped to you directly from the protocol based on the randomly generated number and the availability of leftover items at that moment.
